Aimen Taki

Aimen started his career at Network Rail where he worked on the development and implementation of the Southern Region’s net zero carbon strategy with an annual CapEx budget of c. £3m. Aimen was also in charge of an annual utility budget of £18m and supported in the delivery of the “first of its kind” Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) at Network Rail. Aimen has since joined GPE where he has been tasked with digitising the energy space at the company as well as setting and delivering an energy procurement strategy that aligns with GPE’s ambitions of operational net zero carbon by 2030 whilst still delivering real value to our customers. Aimen currently oversees the procurement of 35 GWh’s p/a of electricity and gas across a Central London based property portfolio.
