Anastasios Papazachariou

Anastasios is a Senior PPA Manager at Cero Generation, a leading European solar energy and battery storage developer with presence across eight European countries. Cero Generation has a 25GW portfolio of projects under evaluation – one of the largest in Europe – and 600MW in operation, construction and at financial close.

Anastasios leads the PPA Team at Cero Generation, currently originating, structuring, and finalising PPAs across the portfolio. Anastasios has a decade of experience in the renewable electricity sector having worked with developers and corporate offtakers on PPA structuring, energy risk management and energy procurement.

Prior to joining Cero, Anastasios worked as a Manager at EY UK in the Strategy and Transactions team in London, engaging with several corporate electricity off-takers to shape their renewable electricity strategy, procurement and PPA contract execution projects. Anastasios holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Peloponnese in Greece and a Master’s degree in Energy Economics from the University of Surrey.
