Chema Zabala

Chema Zabala has more than 15 years of international experience in strategy consulting, energy, sustainability, and climate resilience. Before joining Alantra, he founded MRC Consultants and Transaction Advisers, an international energy consulting firm with 100 employees and a business volume of more than $15m.

He has been a leading advisor on storage and renewable energy projects across Europe, having advised authorities, utilities and investment funds in the development and valuation of projects. Currently he also acts as market advisor of the Spanish storage association AEPIBAL.

Chema graduated as an industrial engineer from ICAI and holds a master’s degree in Corporate Finance from IEB.
