Jaime Vazquez

Jaime Vázquez has served in the Renewable Energy industry over the last 14 years. Currently, he is PPA Director at Econergy Renewables, developer and IPP of Solar PV, Wind and Battery Storage projects, with the largest renewable project in Romania under operation (155 MWp), 0.5 GW under construction and a further 1 GW RtB. Formerly, he was Director of PPA Origination and Structured Finance at Soto Solar, a PV developer and IPP spanning from C&I Self-Consumption to Large-Scale, including the largest PV plant in Spain, 1.2 GWp. Previously, he worked at X-ELIO in various roles, including International Business Development, Structured Finance, M&A, Head of PPA Origination, and Markets Regulation. He secured over 2 GW in PPA/Secured Tariffs worldwide and raised over 250 M€ Senior Debt.

Jaime holds degrees in Law, Business Administration (ICADE), and Telecommunications Engineering (Polytechnic, Madrid) and completed a Master in Management (MGSM, Sydney).
