
Joe Dalton
Joe Dalton is a seasoned veteran of the energy industry, with almost 40 years of professional experience, 21 years in conventional power and 19 years in renewable energy. Joe worked in Electricity Supply Board Ireland in various roles in power stations, including shift charge engineer, station production manager, major projects engineer, asset manager and head of Asset operations, ESB Power Generation, managing over 3.5GW of conventional and renewable genertion assets. In 2007, Joe moved to Mainstream Renewable Power as head of Asset Management, and was involved in renewable projects from South Africa, through USA, Chile and offshore in UK – Hornsea and Neart na Gaoithe. Since 2014, JOe has worked as Director Asset Management at NTRplc, where he has overseen construciton and operations of over 56 renewable engineering projects, including wind, solar and battery. from development stage through construction and operations. Joe is a Chartered Engineer and is married with 6 children. He is a vocational power engineer and self confessed tech “geek”.
