Jussi Mäkelä

Jussi is heading a team that is responsible for market horizon power and commodities analysis at Fortum.

The overarching theme in his two-decade career has been the application of fundamental modelling to a variety of energy market topics including price forecasting, asset optimization, risk management and investments. Jussi holds a master’s degree in engineering physics from the Helsinki University of Technology and has been working for both energy utilities and consultancies.
