Maria Popova is Director for Carbon Neutrality and Renewable Electricity at the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET). She has extensive experience in European energy market and climate policy and regulation. Over the past few years, she has focused on the integration of renewable electricity into electricity markets, facilitating the growth of renewable electricity through renewable Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and guarantees of origin (GoOs), electricity market design, and emissions trading. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
