Nils Holta

Nils believes that renewable energy can and will outcompete fossil fuels. As Net Zero Advisor at Ecohz, he helps companies establish the materiality of their GHG emissions and guides them through voluntary and regulatory frameworks for sustainability. He also advises on how to use renewable energy, from reporting biomethane consumption in accordance with to the ESRS to proving the renewable origin of electricity in green hydrogen.

Nils joined Ecohz in the autumn of 2022. Before, he worked as an energy policy consultant in Brussels and as a lobbyist for renewable electricity interest groups. After studying in Germany and France, he also worked on environmental communications for UN Environment and with bilateral relations at the Norwegian embassy in Vienna.”
