Unsal Al is the Head of European Power Business Development & Origination in Shell Trading.

Unsal holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Rutgers Graduate School in US.

He started his career in investment banking in US and then moved to Europe & Asia to hold various M&A, business development and strategy roles in oil, gas and power.

He joined Shell Energy Europe & Environmental Products (SE-EE) in The Hague in 2009 and a year later moved to London where he held various commercial leadership roles contributing to the growth of SE-EE gas & power portfolio. Since August 2018, he is leading the European Power Origination and BD desk.
