Guy Lavarack

Guy is an experienced investor and developer of energy and infrastructure projects with over a decade in the renewable energy industry. He joined Luminous Energy as Chief Investment Officer in September 2022. Prior to this, he was Head of Energy for Blackfinch Investments, a FCA registered fund manager with over £700m of assets under management. At Blackfinch, Guy built and led a team of twelve people, overseeing the growth of the renewable energy portfolio from 15MW to 150MW within 6 years. This included overseeing the day-to-day commercial, financial, and technical operations of the portfolio valued in excess of £200m with turnover of £16m+ per annum and project finance facilities of £100m across 30 project companies. At Luminous, Guy is responsible for the financing and commercial arrangements to build out, own and operate a 180MW UK solar pipeline.
