Synopsis
Prof. Brett Christophers is the author of the book, The Price is Wrong: Why Capitalism Won’t Save the Planet. His premise, what if the problem is not that transitioning to renewables is too expensive, but that saving the planet is not sufficiently profitable? We have seen steep drops in the price of equipment, especially in the solar space but this has not led to the growth in the industry we need to decarbonise. This session will delve into these topics asking the audience if the price is wrong?
