Martin Scharrer

Martin is responsible for the PPA origination division at Encavis AG and thus for the long-term marketing of energy from solar and wind parks to mainly industrial customers throughout Europe. Encavis AG is one of the leading European IPPs and currently operates projects with an installed capacity of 2,5 GW. Encavis goal is to increase the portfolio to 8 GW by 2027 and to offer tailored supply solutions for industrial customers in the future.

After joining the group in 2010, Martin was building up and leading the legal department where he accompanied the acquisition of PV and wind farms in Europe with a nominal output of more than 2 GW, as well as the conclusion of the first PPAs. In 2021 Martin switched to operational business and since then has been developing and expanding the area of long-term electricity marketing to industrial customers at Encavis AG.
