Susie Lind

Susie is the Managing Director of the BlueFloat Energy | Renantis Partnership in the UK where she leads the development of the UK’s largest portfolio of floating wind projects: 5GW across Scottish, English and Welsh waters. She has worked in the energy sector for 14 years in development, construction, operation and decommissioning of projects across a breadth of low caron technologies – onshore wind, offshore wind, battery, solar and nuclear. She is a non-executive Director of Scottish Renewables and the Offshore Wind Industry Council where she works with industry and government to accelerate the deployment of renewables across the UK. Outside of the energy sector she holds voluntary non-executive Director roles at CrossReach, Scotland’s largest provider of social care and Scottish Squash.

Susie qualified as a lawyer in Scotland before moving to London and dual qualifying. She worked in private practice (corporate) before taking a secondment at EDF and staying in house. She ultimately ran the legal functions of EDF Renewables UK & Ireland and EDF (UK) before taking on her first non-legal role, UK Nuclear Decommissioning Director in 2021.

She has completed executive leadership programmes at Yale and Esade as part of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s invite only programme, remains a qualified lawyer, notary public and WS. Outside of work she spends most time hanging out with her 3 boys and enjoys good food, squash, padel and golf.
